Fun at Ash End House Farm

Well done Little  Gems you were amazing at the farm today!  Here are a few photos to share from our day. A big thank you to all the mums and grandma that came to help.

Romeo and Juliet!

The Little Gems have really enjoyed the activities related to our Romeo and Juliet work.  We learnt how to use a foil in a fencing lesson.  The children made sandwiches on our Friday celebration day.  Thank you to all parents who supported our dressing up day – the children looked amazing!

Gnomeo and Juliet!

As part of Shakespeare week and our theme gardens we will be learning about the garden related version of Romeo and Juliet.

We have learnt how to fence and have been counting out how much we love each other! Stay tuned for more ….

What the Ladybird Heard by Julia Donaldson

Over the last two weeks we have been learning about the cunning plan two thieves had to steal the fine prize cow.

“Open the gate at dead of night,  past the horse and then turn right. Round the duck pond, past the hog…”

Ask the children if they can tell you the end of the plan!

The children have created their own maps, written their own cunning plan, visited the farm shop and used their amazing maths skills to put the right number of animals in a pen.

Great work Little Diamonds!
