Anti-bullying week 2016

Our workshop with Mike from the Rhema Theatre Company.  We had so much fun learning about bullying and how to protect ourselves. We learnt through the story of David and Goliath.

Oliver’s Vegetables

In Class 1 we have been reading the story Oliver’s Vegetables by Vivian French. To make sure that we knew all the vegetables that Oliver grew,we tasted them in school. We had a really good look and feel of each vegetable and were able to buy them in our Fruit and Veg shop too.

The Little Gems have been learning about the signs of Autumn this week. We have focused on harvest vegetables and the farms where food is produced. The children have investigated textures and created amazing drawings.  Well done Little Gems!

Harvest Celebrations!

The Little Gems have had a brilliant week. We have enjoyed learning about instruments this week and singing new songs in our Kimbles session. We have been talking about families and how they are very special. Finally we made hedgehog harvest rolls to celebrate harvest this morning. Well done Little Gems!
